For Creator and Pro subscribers, we provide comprehensive international financial impact analysis that calculates potential financial effects of contract terms across multiple currencies and regional markets. These analyses include real-time currency conversion, local market benchmarks, regional tax implications, and jurisdiction-specific compliance costs based on user inputs and extensive market data. All estimates are informational only and not guaranteed to be accurate. Users should consult qualified financial and tax advisors familiar with their specific jurisdiction for authoritative guidance.

Contract documents are processed entirely in browser memory and never stored on our servers. Only analysis results are retained in your account. We encrypt data in transit. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

7. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

Billing and Payment

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time without penalty.

Refund Exclusions

Refunds may be declined in cases of:

  • Fraudulent or abusive account activity
  • Terms of Service violations or prohibited use
  • Requests made more than 90 days after billing date (except for billing errors)
  • Third-party payment processor fees (which will be deducted from refund amount)

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

9. AI Technology Limitations and Disclaimers

CRITICAL AI LIMITATIONS:

  • Training Data Limitations: Our AI models are trained on historical contract data that may not reflect current legal standards, recent regulatory changes, or jurisdiction-specific variations.
  • Algorithmic Bias: AI analysis may contain inherent biases present in training data and may not account for unique circumstances of your specific situation.
  • No Legal Precedent Analysis: AI cannot analyze recent case law, emerging legal precedents, or jurisdiction-specific interpretations that may affect contract terms.
  • Pattern Recognition Only: Our AI identifies patterns and suggests alternatives but cannot provide contextual legal strategy or negotiation advice.
  • Error Possibility: AI-generated analysis and suggestions may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies and should never be relied upon without professional legal review.

Platform Policy Awareness Limitations

While we provide platform policy guidance for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, and FTC regulations, this information:

  • May not reflect the most current platform terms or policy updates
  • Cannot account for individual creator program requirements or special agreements
  • Should not replace direct consultation with platform representatives or specialized legal counsel
  • May not apply to your specific geographic location or content category

10. Intellectual Property Rights

User Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to contracts, documents, and content you upload to our Service. By uploading content, you grant Rewritable a limited, temporary license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing analysis services. This license automatically expires when your content is deleted from our systems.

AI-Generated Analysis and Suggestions

Analysis Ownership:

  • Risk assessments and clause categorizations generated by our AI remain our proprietary methodology
  • Specific rewrite suggestions and alternative language become your property once generated for your use
  • You may use, modify, and implement AI-generated suggestions in your contracts without attribution
  • We retain the right to improve our AI models based on anonymized, aggregated usage patterns (never your specific content)

Platform Intellectual Property

The Rewritable platform, including but not limited to software, algorithms, user interface design, branding, and proprietary analysis methodologies, remains the exclusive intellectual property of Rewritable. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

11. Enhanced Liability Limitations and Indemnification

Expanded Liability Exclusions

IN NO EVENT SHALL REWRITABLE BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated analysis or suggestions
  • Failed contract negotiations or rejected contract terms
  • Damages arising from AI errors, omissions, or algorithmic biases
  • Platform policy violations or creator program suspensions
  • Loss of business opportunities or revenue based on our analysis
  • Regulatory compliance failures or legal violations
  • Third-party claims arising from your use of AI-generated content

User Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rewritable, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • User's use or misuse of the Service
  • User's violation of these Terms or applicable laws
  • User's uploaded content or contract implementations
  • Claims that user's content infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • User's reliance on AI-generated analysis for legal or business decisions

12. Account Security and Termination

Account Security Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials
  • Immediately reporting unauthorized access or security breaches
  • Using strong, unique passwords and enabling two-factor authentication when available
  • Regularly monitoring account activity and usage

Termination Rights

Rewritable reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent or abusive use of the Service
  • Uploading malicious, illegal, or inappropriate content
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or compromise platform security
  • Non-payment of subscription fees

13. Dispute Resolution and Legal Jurisdiction

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Dispute Resolution Process

Mandatory Resolution Steps:

  2. Mediation (60 days): If unresolved, participate in binding mediation
  3. Arbitration: Final disputes resolved through individual arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules

Class Action Waiver

Users agree that any disputes with Rewritable must be resolved on an individual basis. Users waive the right to participate in class actions, collective actions, or representative proceedings against Rewritable.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rewritable regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals.
